Section 508 (c) Web pages shall be designed so that all information conveyed with color is also available without color, for example from context or markup.
The forecast for Monday is in red.
The forecast for Tuesday is in green.
The forecast for Wednesday is in yellow
PARTLY CLOUDY. LOWS NEAR 50. LIGHT AND
VARIABLE WIND.
PARTLY CLOUDY. HIGHS IN THE LOWER 80S. SOUTHWEST WIND AROUND 10 MPH.
MOSTLY CLEAR. LOWS IN THE LOWER 50S. LIGHT WIND.
The non-sighted user would not be able to discern what forecast was for what day. The color blind user also may not be able to read the forecast depending on what type of color blindness (green and red is the most common) they have. And even a sighted user has trouble reading Wednesday's forecast, in yellow, due to insufficient color contrast between the page background color and the font color.
