Section 508 (l) When pages utilize scripting languages to display content, or to create interface elements, the information provided by the script shall be identified with functional text that can be read by assistive technology. 


The cascading menu above is not accessible to assistive technology such as screenreaders. Additionally, some menu items can be accessed only by using a mouse - which is a pointing device that some disabled can not use.
